Cotton Spinning Spindle

Before 2005, the scale of spinning spindles basically grew at an annual growth rate of more than 10%. However, with the decline of cotton production per mu in the mainland, which could not meet the demand brought by the growth of domestic cotton spinning, a large number of chemical fibers began to enter the market at this time, followed by valuable economic stimulus policies and external weather speculation, Cotton driven chemical fiber began to grow rapidly, and spindles also increased rapidly. With the disappearance of the bubble, cotton spinning spindles began to shrink. Then, with the gradual bottom of the industry price and the second round of development of cotton spinning industry driven by Xinjiang, China's spindle production capacity increased again, but also because of the rapid development, In 2018, Xinjiang also issued an urgent notice to strictly control the cotton spinning industry without development and introduction. Since then, the number of spindles in China has gradually returned to normal.

China's cotton spinning spindles are mainly concentrated in the eastern coastal areas. However, due to the rising cost, the competitive advantage is weakened, and the comparative advantage of the central and western regions has not been fully utilized. Therefore, in order to promote the sustainable development of the textile industry, the Ministry of industry and information Technology issued the "guidance on promoting the transfer of textile industry" as early as 2010, The opinions provide detailed guidance for the development of China's various regions. The regions that focus on promoting the development of cotton textile industry are Henan, Hubei, Anhui, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Chongqing and Shaanxi, while the eastern region guides the industry to develop to high-end regions during the transfer period. Since then, China's cotton spinning spindles have gradually shifted, However, due to the lack of a sound supporting industrial chain in Central China, the development speed is relatively slow. In the eastern region, due to policy and labor constraints, the growth rate slows down and even shrinks in some areas.

Cotton, polyester staple fiber and viscose staple fiber are the three major cotton spinning raw materials. During the seven years from 2014 to 2020, the average annual compound growth rate of the three major cotton spinning raw materials is as high as 0.71%. In the follow-up, with the continuous growth of the output of chemical staple fiber LED by polyester staple fiber, the industry is faced with the problem of partial surplus in addition to the extrusion industry and competitors, China's cotton textile industry will increasingly tend to the buyer's market development.
